I have an hp omen and a ViewSonic Monitor. When the monitor is plugged in with the HDMI to the laptop the monitor works. If I plug that HDMI cable into a docking station and then plug the docking station into the laptop, the laptop will register that there is another monitor but the monitor will just say "No Signal".
I have tried multiple docking stations all of which work when plugged into other laptops but not the hp omen. All other ports work (usb and ethernet) for the omen. I also changed the projection settings and that doesn't effect it.
My processor is: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz I also checked all my drivers using Driver Easy and it says I am up to date but if there are different drivers I need to look into I don't know what they would be. My HP Omen has a Thunderbolt 3 port.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
